A Murrieta man was among three individuals arrested Friday, Aug. 15 on drug charges following a search warrant served at a residence in Menifee, police said.

Michael Fairfax, 34, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Deputies assigned to the Menifee Police Department Special Enforcement Team served a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence on the 23400 block of Casa Bonita Avenue in Menifee. During their search of the residence, deputies located multiple subjects who were under the influence of a controlled substance and also in possession of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia.

In addition, the resident of the location was found to be in possession of a firearm and ammunition, which he is prohibited from possessing. Further investigation revealed the resident was also operating a "Honey Oil Lab", as he was actively extracting concentrated cannabis.

Two other individuals were also arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center.

Arthur Pritchard, 47, of Menifee was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and being a felon in possession of ammunition.

Patrick Sanders, 50, of Palm Desert was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
