A Murrieta woman was arrested Sept. 5 in connection with a vehicle burglary in unincorporated Murrieta, according to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department news release.

Janece Fiechter, 37, was booked at the Southwest Detention Center for burglary after surveillance video from the Aug. 22 crime was located. Police said the evidence indicated Fiechter was responsible for the burglary, in which the suspect broke the passenger side window of a parked and unattended vehicle at a business in the 38000 block of Sky Canyon Drive and stole the victim's purse.

Police said Fiechter was recently arrested and booked for a similar crime in Menifee.
