It's Football Friday! Vista Murrieta Plays at Murrieta Mesa

Jamie Nunley (4) and the Vista Murrieta Broncos will play at Murrieta Mesa tonight.

Two local schools will square off in a Southwestern League football game tonight when Vista Murrieta (2-0, 5-2) plays at Murrieta Mesa (0-2, 4-3) at 7 p.m.

Vista has won 27th consecutive league games and just keeps on rolling. Last week, the Broncos routed Murrieta Valley, 49-14. Murrieta Mesa lost a 50-47 overtime game to Murrieta Valley two weeks ago, then lost to Temecula Valley last week, 31-17.

Murrieta Valley (1-1, 3-4) plays at Chaparral (1-1, 2-5) in another Southwestern League game.
