The Community Services Department of Murrieta has scheduled multiple classes in the field of art and self enrichment, in the month of November.

A Thanksgiving Manners Boot Camp will run from Nov. 5 to Nov. 19, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. In this three-week course, students will learn how to be the best guest or host this Thanksgiving. Students will be instructed in setting and navigating the table, starting and carrying on a conversation, writing and giving a Thanksgiving toast/prayer. The class is open to people ages 5 to 16. Class fees will be $40 for Murrieta residents and $46 for non-residents.

Art with Christine-Monet in a Day, will teach students how to make a masterpiece in a one-day only art class. The class will be open to people ages 16 and up and will be held Nov. 5, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fee for this class will be $30 for residents and $36 for non-residents. Also a $20 materials fee will be due at the class.

Another class will teach students how to make quiches and savory pies. This class will be open to people ages 14 and up and will be held Nov. 13, 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fee for this class will be $35 for residents and $41 for non-residents.

A Colorful French Macaroons Workshop will teach people the art and science behind the French confections in this hands-on workshop. The class is open to those ages 14 and up and will be held on Nov. 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Fees for this class will be $45 for residents and $51 for non-residents.

Celine's Vegetarian Cooking 101 class will teach students how to eat healthy without animal proteins in their diet. People will learn how to cook easy staple vegetarian dishes. It is recommended for those with food allergies or dietary restrictions to alert staff ahead of time. The class is open to those ages 14 and up and will be held Nov. 18, from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Fees are $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.
