The Murrieta Public Library will be hosting a "teen party" in the Library's Community Room.

Teens, grades six to 12, are asked to bring two gifts. One gift will be a wrapped white elephant gift for the gift exchange at the party and the second gift, a new, unwrapped toy or gift card for the city of Murrieta's Holiday Food and Toy Drive.

Holiday refreshments will be served along with activities for the teens to enjoy.

"The party is the result of a program suggestion by a member of the Teen Advisory Council," said Joyce Lea Brown, Teen Services Librarian. She went on to add, "I like programs that benefit teens and that also benefit others."

The event will take place Dec. 6, at 2p.m., and will be free for teens to attend. It will be sponsored by the Friends of Murrieta Library.

Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (by Adams Ave. and Kalmia St.). For more information about this program, call 951-304-BOOK (2665)
