Vista Murrieta High football fans were out in force at the Broncos' semifinal game at Upland last Friday. They will get a chance to cheer their team on again Saturday.

Fans and supporters of the Vista Murrieta High School football team will have the opportunity to celebrate the team's appearance in the CIF finals with the players and others in a pregame tailgate party Saturday at the school.

The celebration will take place on the Vista Murrieta campus from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday. The school band and cheerleaders will perform and there will be music, games and other things taking place.

The team bus will leave the school at 10:45 a.m. to travel to Angels Stadium in Anaheim for the 2 p.m. West Valley Division championship game against Mission Viejo. Fans are invited to line the street and send off the team with a big ovation.

The Murrieta Police Department is providing support for this community event. At 11 a.m., the band, cheerleaders and rooter buses will leave for the game.

Tickets for the game are available at the stadium. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for students with ID and children. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.. Anaheim Stadium will charge $10 for parking. The game will be televised on Fox Sports for all the people who will not attend the game.
