Each week, Murrieta 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Murrieta Mesa High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Murrieta Mesa High School Athletes of the Week:

Senior guard Emily Hasinsky is a member of the Rams girls basketball team, which is at home against Patriot Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the second round of the CIF Division 2A playoffs.

"Emily has a tremendous work ethic every time she comes on the floor," said her coach, Kyle Rouse. "She is one of the most unselfish people we have, which makes her an incredible teammate. This week she did a wonderful job preparing us for CIF and continues to improve every day."

Wrestler Dylan Todd was runner-up in the 122-pound division at the CIF Inland Division Finals last week.

Kaelyn Del Rosario was selected as representative of the girls soccer team, which has had an outstanding season. The Rams won their playoff opener over Citrus Valley last week and faced Bishop Amat today.

These athletes will be eligible for selection as Murrieta Mesa High School's Athletes of the Month, which will be announced the first week in March.
