The checkpoint was conducted on Margarita Road at Torrey Pines from 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Following are the results:
-- 804 vehicles passed through the checkpoint
-- 579 vehicles were screened
-- 3 drivers were arrested for DUI of alcohol and/or drugs
-- 2 drivers were cited and released for driving with a suspended driver's license
-- 4 drivers were cited and released for driving without a driver's license
-- 7 vehicles were towed.
