July Brawl Leads to Arrest of Motorcycle Club Members

Nine suspects were arrested today, including seven men from Murrieta, after search warrants were served at six locations in connection with a July 18 brawl at a Temecula restaurant.

Officers from the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force and the County Probation and Compliance Team made the arrests in connection with the July incident, in which multiple victims received moderate to severe injuries. Video surveillance of the altercation was turned over to the authorities and a months-long investigation began.

As a result of the investigation, several suspects were identified as members or associates of the motorcycle club Royal Aces. In addition to the arrests made today, authorities seized narcotics, an assault weapon, several illegal rounds of ammunition, several high capacity ammunition magazines and paraphernalia as evidence from the various locations where the search warrants were served.

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon and felony vandalism:

-- James A. Jones, 40, of Winchester
-- Damien R. Mitchell, 36, of Murrieta
-- Robert S. Alvarez, 26, of Murrieta
-- Shaquille L. Wilson, 22, of Murrieta
-- Lamor Ferguson, 23, of Murrieta
-- Curtis A. Duke, 26, of Murrieta
-- Henry A. Maurice, 22, of Murrieta
-- Diangalo Brockington , 23, of Murrieta
-- Juan Carranza, 27, of Fallbrook

In addition, Jessica Villalpando, 22, of Murrieta was arrested and booked for possession of narcotics for sales.
