A Temecula woman with prior offenses and a Whittier man were arrested Monday and booked on drug-related charges after officers found them sitting in a parked car with various narcotics and stolen items, police said.

Officers from the Murrieta Police Department responded to the area of Castinette Way and Temecky Way to a call from a citizen who reported seeing two people sitting in a vehicle smoking an unknown substance, according to a news release. The subjects were located and identified as Christopher Morgan, 30, and Brianna Pfister, 22. According to a records check, Pfister had major narcotics related activity and was on probation.

Officers searching the vehicle found 1 gram of heroin, .5 grams of methamphetamine, credit cards, driver's licenses, social security cards and approximately 40 pieces of mail belonging to 19 different people. Total worth of the stolen and recovered property was estimated at more than $1,000.

Morgan was booked into Southwest Detention Center on drug related charges and theft of personal property. Pfister was booked on drug related charges, conspiracy to commit a felony, theft of personal property and violation of parole.

Additional victims have been discovered during a follow-up investigation, police said.
