Four people were arrested on charges involving drugs, burglary and weapons Wednesday following a traffic stop in Murrieta, police said today.

Officers stopped a vehicle carrying four people in the area of Jackson Avenue and Murrieta Hot Springs Road at about 3:54 a.m., according to a news release. A records check was conducted on the three males and one female. A probation search revealed several items that did not belong to any of the suspects.

In addition, a stun gun, burglary tool, narcotics paraphernalia and a counterfeit $100 bill were located. All four were arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center. All have previous convictions, including assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and possession of stolen property.

Isaac Gerrie, 19, of Homeland was booked on charges of being a felon in possession of a stun gun and violation of probation. Isabel Perez, 18, of Menifee was booked on a charge of possession of concentrated cannabis.

Stephen Gonzalez, 25, of Hemet was booked on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation and making or passing fictitious checks. Jorge Garcia, 22, of Hemet was booked on charges of possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license.
