Two adults were arrested by Murrieta Police officers Wednesday on suspicion of selling marijuana to Murrieta Mesa High School students, authorities said.

Members of the department's Special Enforcement Team were following up on an anonymous tip, according to a new release. Detectives arranged to purchase marijuana from a suspect in the area of 41000 California Oaks Road. Contact was made at about 4 p.m. Detectives detected a strong odor of marijuana a Nissan Altima at that time.

Detectives questioned the occupants of the vehicle and two ounces of marijuana were found in their possession. Porsche Cordona-James, 21, and Jule Hall, 23, were arrested for possession of marijuana for sales.
