The first burglary was reported to Murrieta Police in the early afternoon on Tuesday. According to the caller, a home in the 23000 block of Via Madrid was burglarized sometime between 7 a.m. and 12:50 p.m., while the resident was not home. Police responded and processed the scene.

Police received another call from the same residence at 2:35 p.m., reporting a home invasion robbery. According to a news release, the victim said the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and made her lie down. He said he had left behind something from earlier and questioned her. After searching the residence, the suspect fled the scene again.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, thin, short brown hair, no facial hair, 20-30 years old, wearing a button-up blue or gray long sleeve shirt.
