A records check of two Murrieta residents in a suspicious vehicle resulted in the arrest of both suspects on May 26, authorities said today.

Murrieta Police officers responded to the area of La Alba Drive and Big Dipper Way in regards to the report of a suspicious vehicle, according to a news release. Officers conducted a records check of the two occupants of the vehicle: Zachary Heymer, 33, and Lisa Geiger, 36.

The records check revealed that Heymer was on parole for burglary and mandatory supervision probation for burglary. Geiger was found to be on probation for possession of a stolen vehicle and she had a felony warrant for that same charge. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics paraphernalia.

Heymer was arrested for violation of his parole terms. Geiger was arrested for the outstanding felony warrant. Both were booked into Southwest Detention Center.
