A Murrieta man was arrested today on suspicion of multiple armed robberies in Temecula, authorities said.

Kai Dabrowski, 18, was taken into custody without incident in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 33000 block of Temecula Parkway about 1:35 a.m. Officers were responding to the report of a man with a gun at the location. According to a Sheriff's Department news release, the store clerk observed the suspect walking around the store with what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband.

While responding to that incident, officers received the report of another armed robbery at the CVS drug store adjacent to the convenience store. The suspect was observed and identified via descriptions, store video and by store employees. He was in possession of a black airsoft type handgun and cash believed to be taken during the robberies.

Dabrowski was booked at the Southwest Detention Center. Anyone with additional information about these incidents is encouraged to contact the Temecula Police Department at (951) 696-3000.
