The 4Fifths Jazz group, composed of current and former Vista Murrieta High School students, will perform Saturday as part of an event to raise funds for a service dog to help a Murrieta girl.

Jet, a 13-year-old, was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes three years ago. She struggles with her health and in keeping her spirits up, according to a GoFundMe site established in her name. Funds are being raised for the purchase of a service dog to help her through life.

All proceeds from Saturday's event will go toward the purchase of the service dog. The 4Fifths Jazz will perform at the Courtyard, 40573 Margarita Road in Temecula, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Restaurants participating in the fundraiser are Ryan Bros, NY Wings, Jimmy John's, Simply Healthy and FatBurger.
