Murrieta Police officers arrested four individuals on narcotics charges during three separate incidents in a two-hour period on Saturday, authorities reported.

An officer was conducting extra patrol at 11:40 p.m. in the senior community of The Colony when he was flagged down by a security guard concerning recent burglaries in the community. While checking the area, the officer located a vehicle occupied by a male and female in the 40500 block of Via Malagas. A records check revealed that the male had an extensive criminal history and was on probation following a charge of possession of stolen property.

Inside the vehicle, the officers discovered a large amount of methamphetamine, a digital scale, packaging and methamphetamine pipes. Ronald Waggoner, 53, of Perris was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale.

At approximately the same time, a second vehicle arrived at a nearby home. A records check of that vehicle revealed that the driver was also on probation for driving under the influence and hit and run. A search of the suspect's residence revealed methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia.

Robert Grant, 22, of Murrieta was arrested for possession of narcotics.

About two hours later, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 22900 block of Montanya Place. Two of the four occupants of the vehicle were arrested on narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia charges. They were identified as Felan Gutierrez, 22, of Wildomar and Annarose Kovalik-Davida, 24, of Murrieta.
