Murrieta welcomes holiday season with Festival of Lights

Murrieta residents welcomed in the holiday season Saturday night with the annual Festival of Lights at Town Square Park.

The fun began with a parade of push carts and youth groups heading into the park, where guests then walked around the park's perimeter to view the many trees decorated by local groups. Entertainment was provided on the main stage, including performances by characters from the Disney movie "Frozen" (right).
