Defensive back Tanner Hoyt of the CIF Southern Section finalist Murrieta Valley High football team and three players from Vista Murrieta High will represent the city in the inaugural Riverside Sheriffs Association All-Star Football Classic Saturday night.

The game will kick off at 7 p.m. at Norte Vista High School in Riverside. This is the only all-star high school football game featuring players exclusively from Riverside County.

Hoyt was in on 62 total tackles for the Nighthawks, who finished the season 11-3 and advanced to the CIF championship game, where they lost to San Clemente. He will be among the standout players on the South East team, which will be coached by Bert Esposito of Paloma Valley High School.

Vista Murrieta, which finished 9-3, will be represented by lineman Falaniko Loa, linebacker Hunter Orme and wide receiver-cornerback Jaylin White. Also on the team will be Calvary Murrieta quarterback Adam Schwab, whose team was 9-3 last fall.

The game is presented by IE Sports Net, a sports talk radio show launched in 2012 to cover local sports. It is heard weekly on Fox Sports Radio 1350 AM/Riverside.

Head coach of the North West team is Daniel Barlage of Valley View High School.

Ticket prices start at $10 for adults and $7 for kids and students with school ID.
