Four people were arrested on charges including vehicle burglary and possession of stolen property following a report of suspicious activity in a Murrieta parking lot Friday night, authorities said.

The Murrieta Police Department received a call at 9:57 p.m. from a citizen who reported seeing two males looking into the windows of vehicles in a parking lot in the 41400 block of Kalmia Street, according to a news release. Officers located the two males, identified as Jorge Borja-Sanchez, 24, of Canyon Lake and Lars Lemburg, 27, of Winchester. A records check was conducted on both individuals.

Borja-Sanchez was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision for driving under the influence and had previous convictions for narcotics, robbery, grand theft and possession of stolen property. A search of the suspect revealed narcotics on his person.

Lemburg was found to have an active misdemeanor warrant for driving under the influence. Borja-Sanchez was arrested for the reported narcotics possession and Lemburg was arrested for the outstanding warrant.

While officers were still on site, a citizen reported that her vehicle had been broken into in the same parking lot prior to their arrival and that items were missing. Officers searched the suspect vehicle, which included two females, and the missing items were located.

Mishelene Vazcones, 23, of Murrieta and Cynthia Garcia, 21, of Quail Valley were arrested for vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Borja-Sanchez and Lemburg face those same charges in addition to those previously listed.
