Two men were arrested by Murrieta Police and face multiple charges following a traffic stop Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Offers conducted the traffic stop at 12:28 a.m. on Murrieta Hot Springs Road near Alta Murrieta Road. A records check was conducted on the three occupants. Damian Saucedo, 21, of Hemet was found to have three felony warrants for vehicle theft as well as two probations for vehicle theft. Samuel Martinez, 19, of Homeland was found to be on bail for felony possession of stolen property.
A search of the vehicle revealed narcotics paraphernalia as well as 29 modified keys often used to steal vehicles. Saucedo and Martinez were booked into the Southwest Detention Center. The third occupant was released at the scene.
