Each week, Murrieta 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Vista Murrieta High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's honorees from Vista Murrieta:

Joe Hodapp is hitting .443 with 20 RBIs for the baseball team, which is 21-7 this season as it prepares for the CIF playoffs next week. The Broncos beat Great Oak 9-0 on Wednesday and wind up the regular season with a rematch against the same time on Friday.
