A Murrieta woman's diligence in tracking the location of items stolen from her resulted in the arrest of three suspects, police said.

The victim reported on June 13 that her purse had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle sometime the previous night. In contacting the bank, she discovered that several of her credit cards had been used at locations in Menifee. The next day, she contacted the Murrieta Police Department again and said she had discovered an internet posting offering what she believed to be her belongings for sale. Tiffany Roldan, 21, of Menifee, was found to have previous contacts with law enforcement for theft-related incidents.

A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine on Deardorff. A credit card belonging to the victim of the theft was found in the pocket of a third occupant, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Winchester. The juvenile was also found to be in possession of heroin. Several additional items stolen from the unlocked vehicle were also recovered.

Roldan, the driver, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested for DUI and possesion of stolen property.
