Vista Murrieta High Athletes of the Week: Oct. 12

Murrieta 24/7 is pleased to honor outstanding athletes at area high schools. Each coach of a sport in season is allowed to select one athlete per week as Athlete of the Week. Here are this week's honorees from Vista Murrieta High School:

Defensive lineman Travis Johnson had 11 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 hurries in the football team's game against Murrieta Valley.

Aly Bean fired a 34 and a 32 for the girls golf team last week, barely missing a school record while helping the Broncos beat Murrieta Mesa.


Lexi Hadrych continues to excel for the girls volleyball team.
