Murrieta Valley High School was on lockdown for about 20 minutes Thursday as a precautionary measure after receiving a bomb threat via phone call, said school district and police authorities.

Murrieta Police conducted a search of the campus and found no explosive devices after the school was locked down at 10:30 a.m. They determined the school was safe and that the threat was not credible. The lockdown was lifted at 10:50 a.m.
