A Barstow man and a juvenile from San Bernardino were arrested Wednesday and two other suspects remain at large following a burglary at a CVS store in Murrieta, police said.

Murrieta Police responded to a call at 2:57 a.m. from an alarm company monitoring a situation in the CVS store at 23743 Jackson Ave. In response to an alarm activation at the store, security officials were watching four subjects inside the store on a surveillance system. Arriving officers observed a U-Haul truck parked in front of the store and a van speeding away from the location.

Officers at the CVS found a long chain tied to the back of the U-Haul truck. A review of the surveillance video showed that four suspects had tried unsuccessfuly to steal the ATM machine from inside the store and eventually fled. Additional officers conducted a traffic stop of the van, which held two suspects matching the descriptions from the surveillance video.

Jalale Love, 44, was found to be on mandatory supervision probation and post release community supervision. He has a lengthy criminal history dating back 30 years. The U-Haul truck was found to be stolen from the City of Monrovia. Love and a 17-year-old male were arrested on charges of conspiracy, burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and vandalism. Love was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center and the 17-year-old male was booked into Juvenile Hall.
