Gabby Stoll scored 18 points Saturday night to lead the Vista Murrieta High School girls basketball team to a 57-47 win over Fairmont Prep in the second round of the CIF Div. 1 playoffs.

Alexis Mead added 13 points for the Broncos, who improved their record to 25-2. Imari Cooley and Reece Lingat each scored 10. The Broncos will be at home against Chaminade Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinals.

In a Div. 3A game Saturday night, Murrieta Mesa was eliminated from the playoffs in a 58-34 loss to Beverly Hills. Two other Murrieta area teams will be in action on Tuesday. The Vista Murrieta girls soccer team will play host to La Mirada. That night at 7, the Murrieta Mesa boys basketball team will be at home against Citrus Valley.
