A Murrieta man died today from injuries suffered in a traffic incident in which he was trapped inside a burning car, authorities said.
Firefighters responded at 2:49 a.m. to the Olive Street underpass to Interstate 15 in Wildomar, according to a Riverside County Fire Department news release. The single-passenger vehicle was hung up on a chain link fence above a bridge, making it more difficult for firefighters to extricate the driver.
Rene Leduff Jr., 24, was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center, where he died.
